Aline Kovacs, LCSW, BCBA

Senior Licensed Social Worker and Board Certified Behavior Analyst

Aline Kovacs (she/her) is a licensed clinical social worker and board certified behavior analyst. She uses neurodiversity and gender-affirming approaches in her work with children, adolescents and adults. She specializes in evidence-based psychotherapy, executive functioning coaching, and parent training for the treatment of symptoms associated with ADHD, autism, anxiety disorders, and depression.

Aline earned her degree in social work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College and subsequently received certifications in behavior analysis and neurodiverse couples therapy. She has served as an adjunct professor for Manhattanville College and Long Island University and as the director of behavior analytic assessment training for a nation-wide organization. Prior to that, she worked as a supervising clinician for home-based treatment, a clinician in special education schools, and an educator in literacy-building learning centers. Aline is a founding member of the Glitter Goddess art collective and a proud owner of a mixed-breed pup named Mochi.
