Jocelyn Lichtin, PhD
Founder & Director
Dr. Lichtin (she/her) is a licensed clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist who specializes in the assessment and treatment of ADHD and related conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, disruptive behavior, and autism, as well as issues related to life stressors, transitions, and parenting. She sees children, adolescents, adults, and parents, utilizing a behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approach informed by neuropsychology and evidence-based practice. She earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology with Specialization in Neuropsychology from the Graduate Center of the City University of New York and her undergraduate degree from Vassar College. She trained at Mount Sinai Hospital, the New York University Child Study Center, and Bellevue Hospital Center.
Prior to founding The Attention Group, Dr. Lichtin worked as the Director of Psychological Services at the Hallowell Center of New York. She is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT), the New York State Psychological Association (NYSPA), and the NYC-CBT Association. Her research interests include better understanding the developmental trajectory of attentional disorders and improving nonpharmacological interventions throughout the lifespan. She is the mother of three children and has two dogs, Sam and Penny.
