Mental Health Counselor

Mariah Morales (she/her) is a mental health counselor who works with individuals across the lifespan. She uses an affirming and culturally sensitive approach to create a supportive and collaborative environment. Mariah provides evidence-based psychotherapy, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and executive functioning coaching to help clients navigate ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and emotional dysregulation. Guided by empathy and a client-centered approach, Mariah provides a safe and welcoming space where individuals feel heard and empowered. She works alongside each person to build strengths, increase self-awareness, develop practical skills to navigate life's challenges, and foster lasting well-being.

Mariah earned her master's in Mental Health Counseling and bachelor's in Psychology from the School of Education at Hunter College. She has worked in a wide range of settings, including private schools, community agencies, private practice, and in-home therapy. In addition to her clinical work, Mariah previously taught wellness strategies, executive functioning skills, coping tools, and crisis de-escalation techniques to neurodivergent students and educators at The Quad Preparatory School in the city. In her free time, Mariah loves baking, practicing yoga, and cuddling with her kitten, Onyx.
