Natalia Morato, MHC
Mental Health Counselor
Natalia Morato (she/her) is a Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP) who works with children, adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, OCD, ADHD and challenges related to life stressors and transitions. Natalia takes a collaborative approach to therapy while integrating evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She is committed to creating a supportive and safe environment where clients feel understood, empowered and equipped with tools to navigate daily challenges. As an immigrant herself, Natalia brings a culturally sensitive lens to her work and values each client’s unique background and lived experience.
Natalia received her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling from The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development at NYU. Prior to earning her graduate degree, Natalia worked with children and toddlers on the spectrum across a variety of settings, and in a private practice setting where she conducted ACT-oriented therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. Outside of her clinical work, Natalia enjoys trying new recipes, reading and exploring New York City.
